Since 2001, we have been leading this new multi - sport adventure “canyoning" by rappelling and hiking in this spectacular rain forest “slot” canyon located in La Fortuna under the famous Arenal Volcano.  From children to adults and people with experience we are the specialists!

We use only high quality gear used in canyoneering and rock climbing. All our guides have been professionally trained in wilderness first aid, C.P.R. and technical canyoneering. We are certified by the Costa Rican Board of Tourism and members of the American canyoneering Association

Your trip begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano.

From the first waterfall we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. We have 5 rappels, 4 of which are along side or right in waterfalls, and one dry rock face. Then a short trek out of the canyon on a magical trail, jump back in the 4x4 vehicles and head back to the base camp for a delicious Costa Rican style lunch.

 

The Adventure of a Lifetime!

We have two tours a day, 7:00AM and 12:00PM, they are approximately 4 hours in duration. Both tours include lunch at our base camp and snacks in the canyon.
