Terms & Conditions

Your Travel and/or Tour arrangements to Costa Rica, prepared by Pure Trek Costa Rica, are subject to all the terms and conditions set forth in this statement. Please read this entire statement as carefully as possible.

Reservations and Payments: 50% of the total itinerary price is due at the time of booking. Payment in full is due 45 days prior to departure. Bookings taken within 45 days of the travel date require payment in full. Due to the popularity of the destination(s), the small size of some boutique hotels, inns, and lodges and during certain holiday periods, additional deposits/ and or payments may be required to continue to hold the confirmed space. If so, you will be notified accordingly.

Cancellation and Refunds: Requests for cancellations and refunds must be in writing and e- mailed to Pure Trek Costa Rica. info@puretrek.com or renee@puretrekcom. Request received by Pure Trek Costa Rica forty-five (45) days or more before the departure date, will receive a full refund less a $200.00 per person charge that will be assessed in addition to any other cancellation fees and charges which may be assessed by suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and ground operators. If the request is received less than forty-five (45) days before the departure date no refund will be granted. Once travel commences, unused portions of packages are non- refundable.

Peak Season Bookings: (Dec 15- Jan 05) are confirmed with a 50% non refundable deposit and full balance due 90 days before travel. Peak season tours are non refundable for any reason.

Pure Trek Costa Rica will try to facilitate a refund on unused portions of itineraries when possible.

Pure Trek Costa Rica encourages our clients to purchase travel insurance, which can be purchased through a third-party insurance company.

Baggage: Allowance is in accordance with airline regulations. Passports: Passengers must carry valid U.S. Passport for proof of U.S. citizenship to travel to Costa Rica. Citizens of other countries please consult local consulates. Pure Trek Costa Rica cannot assume responsibility for denied boarding’s.
