Your children safety is our upmost importance. We take extra care by outfitting kids with a special childrens harness as well as gloves and helmets for children.

We also lower children down each rappel to insure their safely and still provide a super fun time! And our trails as extremely well maintained and have railings making it a safe and yet totally fun environment while they are in the canyon. Pure Trek’s guides are all extensively trained in working with children specifically. That is why you see so many 5 star reviews from families!

This was an incredible activity but it was even more special because the guides were so considerate and caring to my 7 y.o. daughter. She was looking forward to it but got cold feet at the top. They didn’t cajole her to try it, instead, they walked her down to a smaller ledge so she could try it there. She loved it… highly recommended!

This was a highlight of our trip. We are a family of 4, kids 10 and 13. We loved this tour. It was very thrilling - the monkey drop was our favorite. Even though it was a good thrill, the guides were very knowledgeable and well trained so we felt safe. They also brought the pura vida spirit. If you are looking for some thrills and a beautiful forest experience this is for you! The tour was well organized. Pick up from the hotel was prompt, they gave us towels afterwards, a clean place to change and a tasty lunch. We all agreed we will do it again when we come back.

What an amazing experience!!  Our party of 8 included 4 kids ranging in age from 6 to 12. They all had a blast! The guides were so patient and reassuring! What an amazing way to experience the amazing adventures La Fortuna has to offer!

We had an amazing morning with Pure Trek! I went with my 13 & 11 year old sons, all trying canyoning for the first time. The course is lots of fun, with big rappels down waterfalls. Even though these were big drops, we felt very safe and secure the whole time. The team is great and very encouraging. We love the monkey drop as well. Highly recommend this as a must do if you are in Arenal.

AMAZING!!! Took our whole family.... youngest was 12. Only my husband had experience.... they were patient and very helpful with the rest of us! Would do this over and over again. The surroundings were unbeatable, the staff cheerful and friendly and genuinely friendly! Pick this for your vacation! This is a “do not miss”!
